Smore's Chocolate Chip Cookies
My classic scooted chocolate chip cookies on top of a graham cracker dipped in browned butter, filled with both a large and mini marshmallows (which caramelize when you bake), chocolate chips, and topped with a signature hershey’s chocolate. Summer doesn’t get any better than this.
-
Lazy Focaccia
Focaccia has been getting the place in the spotlight it deserves, and I cannot be happier for it. This is an extremely low effort recipe that will get you chewy and salty bread after mixing and allowing time to rise. I also use this recipe if I don’t have enough time for my longer pizza dough recipe. Top with literally anything that sounds good, bake, and enjoy!
-
No Knead Artisan Bread
Perfect crusty bread can be yours by dinner! No mixer or sourdough starter required. Once you make this recipe, you’ll also have the dough base I use for pizza, focaccia, and stromboli, so it’s really four recipes in one.
-
Scooted Chocolate Chip Cookies
The perfect chocolate chip cookie made with no long rests or special ingredients. Chewy corners and gooey centers are waiting for you, just don’t forget the signature move of scooting them while still fresh from the oven!

Hi, I’m Becca. As long as I can remember, I saw my mom use the power of food and simple hosting to bring people together. In college that looked like baking her signature cookies and sharing it with strangers in my dorm. As a newly married person in my mid-20s it looked like having our friends over for ice cream parties and movie nights. In 2019 we were invited to join a Dinner Club, which was my first opportunity to host and attend dinner parties. Being apart of Dinner Club made me fall head over heels for hosting dinner parties while my husband and I made it work on a tight budget in our 800 sq ft apartment.
In 2020 we moved to a new home, which was bigger but definitely still quite dated and in need of some renovations that we couldn’t afford. Even so, I continued to invite people over because I saw hosting as a way to make memories and build community in a way more affordable than the alternatives. Our years of Dinner Club also taught us that hosting is not about how nice your home is, but the opportunity to gather your friends and connect over delicious food.
After deciding to stay home with my second daughter, I had a conversation with my mom about what would be next for my career, and she encouraged me to share my experience hosting dinner parties. I was hesitant at first because I never saw anyone with a home that looked like mine talking about hosting on social media, and then I realized that was the point. Since then, I’ve been using my normal home and normal budget to help inspire + give others the permission to host imperfect gatherings, because hosting is for everyone.
